Just got an email from a friend of mine John Simmit from upfrontcomedy club, a very hard working promoter who works the circuit very well, formerly a member of the telly tubbies and without bias I have been to quite a few of his events and the line up has always left me in tears of laughter. (if I did not like it, I would not write)

The email was informing me of his new Comedy Spring Series 2008, 3 dates 12 UK and International acts including Mr CEE, Donna Spence, Maverick, Leo Muhammed, Jefferson & Whitfield, Vanessa Fraction, Harris Stanton and Marc Theobald  from the USA, Jean Paul from Canada, Annette Fagon and Lateef Lovejoy. If you enjoy stand up off the cuff comedy or you need to get away from your computer and get some photosynthesis (if that made sense) then get yourself down to The Drum in Birmingham on Fri 1 Feb, Fri 29 Feb or indeed Fri 4 April 2008.
